Description
The LMC7101 device is a high-performance CMOS operational amplifier available in the space-saving 5-
pin SOT-23 tiny package. This makes the LMC7101 ideal for space- and weight-critical designs. The
performance is similar to a single amplifier of the
LMC6482 and LMC6484 types, with rail-to-rail input and output, high open-loop gain, low distortion, and
low-supply currents.
The main benefits of the tiny package are most apparent in small portable electronic devices, such as
mobile phones, pagers, notebook computers, personal digital assistants, and PCMCIA cards. The
tiny amplifiers can be placed on a board where they are needed, thus simplifying board layout.

(LMC7101Q-Q1)
-Single operational amplifier: The IC contains a single op-amp, making it suitable for applications
requiring amplification of a single input signal.
-High speed: The LMC7101 is a high-speed op-amp, offering fast response times and enabling it
to process signals in high-frequency applications.
-Low power consumption: The IC is designed for low power operation, which is beneficial for
battery-powered or energy-efficient applications.
-Wide supply voltage range: It can operate from a single power supply voltage ranging from
2.7V to 12V, allowing flexibility in power supply selection.
-Rail-to-rail input and output: The LMC7101 features rail-to-rail input and output voltage ranges
, which means it can handle input signals that extend from the negative supply voltage to the
positive supply voltage, and it can output signals that reach close to the supply voltage rails.
-Unity-gain stable: The op-amp is unity-gain stable, meaning it can operate with a voltage gain
of 1 without external compensation.
-Low input offset voltage and low input bias current: The LMC7101 exhibits low input offset
voltage and input bias current, providing accuracy and precision in signal amplification.
-Small package: The LMC7101AIM5 is available in a small SOT-23-5 package, which is a
surface mount package with five pins.
-Wide temperature range: It can operate over a wide temperature range, typically from
-40°C to 125°C, ensuring reliable performance in various environmental conditions.
